Let’s fill the room with praise tomorrow night #weeklyworshipevent

Despite moments of sincere joy, it has been a tough week for Second Story. We lost our friend Tommy this past Sunday night, suddenly and unexpectedly. As we get closer to his funeral service (Tues, 3 pm @ First Baptist), we are offering one more night to gather with Tommy in mind (tomorrow, Sunday - 2.16, Ms. Julie’s house, 6 pm) for fellowship & prayer, reflection on life and loss and celebration of our friend. As a loving community, we don’t have to go through this alone. Some tears may be shed but it won’t be entirely somber and you don’t have to have known Tommy incredibly well to join us. We will laugh and celebrate the memories as well as mourn for the loss of our friend. Dinner will be served per usual and we hope to see you there. #thisismysecondstory

Dr. Deyby Agurcia, the Executive Director of @casadavidhn, is enjoying his 1st visit to the US & hosted by the Hoopers. He is a doctor there and excited about meeting you & sharing his story! And then @jeharris8116 the OSCARS QUEEN will show up with games and prizes as we will all be given the chance to pick the winners! + a pasta dinner by Chef @hoopmeister #thisismysecondstory

So excited about the centerpiece of our new schedule, Sunday nights w/ dinner, bible study and fellowship at Marvina & Howie’s house! We’ll start with food at 6 and then get to bible study (girls with Marvi, guys with Howie & Bistro) soon after. Then fun and fellowship! We’ll text you directions on Sunday! #thisismysecondstory

For over 2 years, @wyattdetrick spent his Thursday nights leading Second Story in worship. A worship leader does far more than just lead songs - he invests, he prepares, he prays, he loves. Second Story has been incredibly blessed by this guy since his first days at @columbusstate. We anticipate plenty more Thursday nights with Wyatt @ Second Story with his 🎸& 🎹, but as he takes a semester off bc of scheduling and Schwob life (& engagement ☺️❤️🙌‼️), we just wanted to take this moment to thank him for all he has done, in the name of Christ, for this community of people! #thisismysecondstory

After our Semester Kickoff last Thursday night, we are so excited to draw energy from that crazy perfect night right back over to Second Story (TONIGHT 8:30-10 PM) for our first Reclaimed #weeklyworshipevent of the new year! Food & fun to begin the night, this new worship team will be leading us & Josh Swanson will be speaking! We can’t wait to see you! #thisismysecondstory
